Mari founded MAAREE after being disappointed in the sports bras she was wearing whilst running. She realised she wasn’t on her own, as many women were experiencing chafing, breasts moving too freely, pain, and dents in their shoulders. All of these things were stopping women from exercising. Mari knew this shouldn’t be the case and wanted to stop ‘the sports bra wrestle’ and empower women to exercise to their full potential. Mari, therefore, began to design and manufacture her own quality sports bras. 

MAAREE sports bras reduce the motion of the breasts by using an overband technology which keeps the bust in place while exercising. Having the right sports bra allows you to feel confident, secure, and offers you the freedom to enjoy the activities you want, even high-impact sports. 

MAAREE has two bras in their debut collection, the Empower Medium-Impact Sports Bra and the Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra. 

The Empower Medium-Impact sports bra is available in navy and black and comes in sizes XS-XL.  

The Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra comes in two colours, wine and black. It is available in sizes 32C to 38G and has an adjustable Overband® so that you can tailor the fit to your specifications, needs, and shape.

Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra 

Our Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra has won the ‘Best in Test’ by ‘Women’s Running’ magazine for the second time in a row. We were up against some well-established brands, so to be recognised as the best sports bra world is an honour and we are extremely thankful to our customers. 

Each time, two different judges test out each sports bra, so we are delighted that four women have tried our bras over the last two competitions and have chosen MAAREE as their favourite.

Here’s what the judges had to say in 2018 when the Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra was first launched,

‘The MAAREE bra has a number of good features that makes it stand out a little more from others on the market. The first being the adjustable over band built into the fabric of the bra with adjustable straps either side. This added support structure stops the bounce not only when running but also during those dreaded burpees! This high-impact sports bra has great, wide soft straps that can be adjusted at the back to get the perfect grip. There is also an additional clip that enables you to make it into a cross back - to change depending on your exercise to allow great freedom of movement. The bra also has a slightly deeper chest band to give a secure firm fit while still allowing you to breathe. There are strategically placed mesh panels to enhance breathability. All-round comfort and support. Perfect!’

Here’s what the judges had to say the second time around in 2019, 

‘This could be your new best friend. The fit is true to size and the small adjustable straps in the armpits are really useful. There’s minimal bounce and the clever design minimises the shape of the breast without you feeling strapped in and restricted, offering amazing support. The fabric is super soft with no danger of chafing even on a long run. It’s machine washable and easy to dry. Winner.’
